One of the most exciting ways to compete as an elementary or middle school student is in a spelling bee! And that is exactly what we have happening in Pembroke Falls again this Sunday. Why wouldn't you and your family want to live here in beautiful Pembroke Falls where there is so much community spirit and great educational values?

Succeed in area competitions and you'll be on your way up the ladder to compete at the highest rungs of the spelling bee circuit.

Perhaps the best reason for competing in spelling bees is the potential glory involved in the Scripps National Spelling Bee. This annual event is televised by ESPN and you will compete against hundreds of spellers from across North America. If you win or place highly, you will be given a scholarship. Just by competing in the Scripps you'll have something unique to put on your resume and college applications.
